Lectures in the Age of Covid
Although traditional lectures are on hold during the pandemic, Professor Madden is currently offering online lectures through Context Travel.  The following lectures are available for enrollment:

Professor Madden lectures widely on a variety of topics related to history and religion. He has delivered keynote addresses and public lectures around the world at a variety of universities, think tanks, learned societies, religious institutions, and other venues.

Recent lecture topics have included the medieval foundations of difficulties in the modern Middle East, the legacy of the Crusades, and the formation of republican values in the commercial empire of Venice. These have been delivered at venues such as UCLA, The Cato Institute, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the German Historical Institute in London, and Rutgers University.
